Hi, its not bad as there is really no need to use any oil.

I only tried frying nuggets and chicken wings. The chicken wings turn out to be very cripsy and very good to eat. (i marinated it before frying).
The only bad part is the washing, i found it quite tough to wash the net, though the instructions say to immerse it in hot water after use, maybe i didnt soak it long enough. But overall, i must say its oil-less and fast to use!

Someone told me can use a little lime or lemon juice with water in the pot and turn it on for awhile. It helps in the cleaning up process.

Yap, my maid will be going off in July this year, so i am already preparing myself with all the \"machines\" - airfryer, roomba, happy call pan, etc. Have to plan the time carefully and expect alot of unpredictables as my boy is only 19months - haha. But I am sure happy to pick up some tips in this forum.

Me too shopping for Thermal pot. Been asking around and many friends recommend Tiger Brand.

Dryer is a real time saver as clothes can go straight in there after washing. Since we went maidless, I've been using a dryer all the time. My dryer is Brandt but it's 6-7 years old now and so far no problems at all, but I'm sure others would have something newer to recommend.

My Iron doesn't drip water at all. I guess you have to read the label and check that it is anti-drip before you buy it.

Hi fifiyeo, my house is usually pretty sunny (except those rainy days) so i didnt consider a dryer till now as i will be putting baby clothes into the washer and intend to put into a dryer.


Btw, any mummies here can teach me how to wash the washer? Am having a Thomson top load washer for many years and have never clean it. Now that i am putting baby clothes into it, i thought i better have a thorough clean first. I heard to put baking powder into it? How to do that? Do i put in as if its detergent and how much to put? Please advise! TIA

There is a descaling powder sold at NTUC for washer and dishwasher but it says only for front load and auto washer. So, I don't know if it's suitable for Thomson Top load washer (I just descale mine yesterday). I once heard about the baking soda too but have not tried it. I only use my used (after use in refrigerator) baking soda to boil my kitchen cloths. I guess is pretty much the same, just add directly into the drum of the washer and wash empty at 60 degree cycle and 1 tablespoon of baking soda should suffice. I too collect my end of cycle water to wash the toilet floor.
