And sit on the opponent as his secret weapon.
Then he must move swiftly... like kung fu panda! :rotflmao: -

We were late, traffic jam at CTE exit road and Bradell road and trying to find a parking lot in the school. :gloomy: Late also good, don't need to play game
Me too! Can our kids choose not to join the sports CCA which the school recommends them tp join?firefly38:

Just came back from RI parent teacher meeting, also mentioned same thing about kids being profile and will recommend on the CCA that they should join.
Btw, did you play that Bingo game for parents? Urrgghh!!!
OIC.. Me & DS2 took the MRT there, so no problem..
Anyway, silly game.. Waste time only..
Btw, DS1 wants to join the Raffles Voices (choir). Is it a 'heavy' CCA to join? -
TwaTau:
I think some of these \"recommended\" CCAs are the å·éØ, type, got to get some of our kids to fill it up mah. Basis of recommendation is not transparent.
the CCA/sports profiling is not done yet right ? -

last year's audition song was \"happy birthday\".... not so simple...

DH was there just now too... He brought back some documents like class time table, names of teachers. Didn't know philosophy is one of the subjects too. What class is your ds in?ngbrdad:
During the parents briefing ACSI parents are told that their kids had been profiled during the Orientation camp period and will be recommended the sports that they may excel in.

don't think so is 'cold door', esp sports cca, they always want to win
you must have one core CCA -
TwaTau:
I don't mind this kind. The trouble is DS offer too large a target for fencing!
then he can roll over the opponent  and walk overngbrdad:

For RI does a kid need recommendation to join fencing ?
It should be å·éØ enough but it's cool. -

Choir should be around 2x/week, 2-3hrs each session? Run-ups to competitions would be 3x/week, I'd think. Usually SYF every 2 years and a Choral/music festival locally/overseas in the years there's no SYF? That's what my dd had. She's been in choir since p3 and now in JC2, still in choir(hah!!! so dedicated). The school choirs she's been in in Sec/JC have always garnered Gold(with honours).

But well, it's usually in air-con room! Practices, I mean. Ah...unless they also do some outdoor warmups. I remember my girl going to school at 6.30am during SYF years to do morning runs at school track before their morning practices. -
