My guess is it will be similar to the one they had last year, plus information on changes in the education system or syllabus. Can't be mandatory. There will be parents who can't attend due to work. Maybe you want to call the school to confirm?

DD had to bring some items to school every day, as requested by her teachers. BUT the items were not used or collected by her teachers! She had to carry them all the way home again. Some items were in her bag for 2 days! Each item is not heavy, but when accumulated over 2 days, there are more and more items to carry! Anyone knows if there’s a need to bring those items to school again next week? Do we leave the items in the bag until the teachers collect them? Sigh… Wish the instructions were clearer.

my DD’s teacher left a note to say to bring scissors, colored pencils everyday. Some books were collected but brought back for homework today.

1-2 books were to be brought just for that day’s class.
I do find it taxing to have to check everyday.

I received a form to pay for some core programmes too … bit of a shock that there are so many core programmes.
