        I think it's quite standard in schools. They usually end up paying cash of about S$1++k after subsidy per trip. But for KL, it was cheaper, lah.

            Do parents get to tag along if the parents say, volunteer their services?

            Then, do the parents get subsidies too?

                    In fact the KL trip I test test DS, he was so excited that I want to go. When I say, it’s time you do things yourself, he kind of disappointed.

                      School choirs get to go to such exotic cities for choir competitions. The RGS Choir went to Prague this year and won two grand prizes.

                        Other groups like band and dance too, I'd think? So far, I've only seen Chinese orchestras go for immersion, not overseas competitions/festivals.
