In fact the KL trip I test test DS, he was so excited that I want to go. When I say, it’s time you do things yourself, he kind of disappointed.

School choirs get to go to such exotic cities for choir competitions. The RGS Choir went to Prague this year and won two grand prizes.

Other groups like band and dance too, I'd think? So far, I've only seen Chinese orchestras go for immersion, not overseas competitions/festivals. -

For dance, yes, if the school has a strong dance team. One girls school I know sends their girls to competitions and immersions in Spain, China, Australia...jtoh:

Some sports CCAs also get to travel for competitions and training trips. -

I know, but for CO, it's all immersion, not competition. Actually Pri CO always goes together with Sec CO, so the Pri mbrs are nv the focus there. And over the years, they've been to Beijing, Shanghai, Japan, Korea, Taiwan...but my son has never gone lah.
