My husband attended a talk on the 2nd day and he was given a website where the boys can log in to play educational games. Quite good.
Thanks! the site looks quite fun! but it is not compulsory right??
The books for me, the 1st day of school already form tcr ask to collect, so 2nd day I help him carry to class ALL. exploding bag man! But the text books they did not collect right?
How are your boys? Are they getting used to primary 1? And do you think the food is kinda ex?
I gave $2 for day 1 he complain hungry and he spent it all on food and no drinks....
Day 2 gave him $3, left 40cents, which he carry forward to
day 3 and finished all... :stupid: -
Good Morning!
I think my son is still trying to get used to the school life. I also find that the school food are abit overpriced n the amount is so little. My son wants me to pack food for him so that he can save up the $. -
Hi,
My son (in P3 this year) has been getting $1.50 for the last 2 years. He tells me it’s not enough only when he has the mixed rice for recess - rice portion more than the food. If he patronises the other stalls, he’ll usually have a few cents to save. -

When I think Of it,Hi,

6am - breakfast at home
9:45am- recess
2pm- mOrning star lunch w rice
6:30pm - dinner
Seems like recess no need to be too filling.
But when I go see him at day 1, he was complaining v hungry
-
I think whether the food is enough is subjective plus lunch after school is quite late - so maybe that’s why your son is hungry. My son only brings $1 when he was in P1 last year. He will eat the fishball noodle and usually he won’t be able to finish. Fishball noodles cost 80cents. This year he decided he only wants us to pack bread or cereal for him. He says he doesn’t want to eat so much coz he wants to go to the library - book addict.

Wenthea - your son in morning star too? Looks like we have quite a lot of morning star mommy here.

My son is also attending Morning Star. Their lunch are quite late.
