      Tresille:

It's only the second week of school....timetable for both CA1 and SA1 already out  šŸ˜“ CA1 is just slightly more than a month away.

This year will be the first time that ds taking all CAs and SAs.

      good morning Tresille! :hugs: :snuggles:
:nailbite: šŸ˜“ exam timetable for semester one out lioa? :faint: And CA1 is in week 8, I presume? :yikes:

I have just signed a consent letter for DD1 CCA - twice a week, Tues and Thurs. And she said supplementary class will be compulsory for P4 every Mon and Fri! So literally she only has Wednesday afternoon that is \"free\"! :imcool: but she having piano lesson every Wednesday evening šŸ˜‰

      Good morning Champion!

Huh, supplementary classes for P4? Is it for all subjects? For DS2's school, supplementary classes only starts in P5.

DS2 has been attending CCA twice a week since P2 also on Tues and Thurs. Other than that, he stays back for BICEP classes which is on Wed and his lessons ends at 3.30pm on Fri too. That leave him with only 1 free day on Mon. I tried not to add on any outside enrichment for him other than piano lessons he has been attending since K2, and Chinese creative writing.

I am not sure of what will be taught at supplementary classes as DD1 said that FT has told them verbally and will give the consent form to parents this week.

Yeah, DD1 also been learning piano since K2. So, now we are arranging for pte teacher to come to our place and the lesson is only 45 minutes so save lots of travelling time šŸ˜„

          Hi Champion,

Wow, your DD1 sure have a busy schedule! I thought my DS was bad enough... šŸ˜“

DS1 had compulsory supplementary class since P3. Its on Tuesdays till 5pm, and CCA on Friday , also till 5pm. Thursdays evening he'll go for English tuition, so that leaves Monday and Wednesday free.

Our kids have busier schedules than us!

            Hi Silverhorse,
Yes! Agrees totally! :hi5: Now that our kids are in P4 am sure their workload + other activities are more! šŸ˜“

šŸ™ and hope that they can manage well and will not be tired out at the end of the day. :imcool:

                  Hi Silverhorse,

Your DS1 started supplementary classes even earlier than Champion's DD1? The school is really pushing the students hard, looks like you do not have to engage any tuition for your DS1, the school is doing so much.

                      Hi Tresille,
My DS1 is in the school that produced the top PSLE student in 2011 šŸ™‚
I still give him tuition for Math since P2 and this year I started English for him. The school pushes the students to their max, so i have to be the supporting mom to him. Most days, he have lots of homework ( even after the supp classes)... so I try to encourage him to do his best. Much as I frown upon this busy schedule, I just feel sorry for the children of this generation.
