TKGS 51 percent has L1R5 of less than 10. One girl achieved 10 A1s but the media seemed to have missed it.

Business courses are out of reach. Suggest the non competitive engineering course or nursing in view of her L1r4 of 20. At least her maths n science grades are decent.

                    Extracted from CNA

forging ahead is top Malay student Nadiah Nadhirah, who scored a distinction in Chinese, despite taking up the subject only in Secondary One.

She said: \"What we had to do was memorise all these Chinese characters and there were times when I felt like I wanted to quit Chinese. But motivation from my parents, my friends and my teachers enabled me to go all the way up to the O-Levels.\"

this is a role-model for all that say Chinese is too tough, especially for the Chinese race.
Is this an example of \"where there is a will, there is a way?\"

Zhong Yingyi could be converted Singaporean based on the name which is Hanyu Pinyin?[/quote]Hmm ,.... yah, she's from China. Came to Singapore at 10years old.
