          Hi tamarind,

I saw your blog and really was impressed by your involvement and dedication in teaching your children to read and write. And i was surprised to hear that PCF centre had such good quality curriculum for Kindy…

Does anyone has any good recommendation for PCF kindergarten or childcare in Yew Tee/CCK /Bkt batok area that has equivalent quality?

Does anyone heard of Just Kids in Bkt Batok ? Any comments on the K1/K2 curriculum? Heard that the kids are taught only A,B,C and 1,2,3 in K1 despite the fees at $600++…

I also went to PCF at 103. I did not have time to observe the class but my maid did. Feedback from my maid is that my boy won't enjoy it as it's quite 'boring'. Their pace is slow & there's alot of 'blank time'. My boy needs a fast pace environment that moves on quickly to next activity, else he'll get very bored.

pcf sent us a survey form on whether we are interested to enrol our child in 8am-6pm programme which include music, art, IT, 3rd language & science (with a 1 1/2 lunch break). I have my reservation whether such long hours will be counter-productive for K1/K2 children as I understand even full-day childcare, the pm session is mostly nap/play. what are your views?

                      Hi

I would appreciate any feedback on PCF Chongpang at BLK 309 with the Emilio Reggio approach.

Any feedback on the K1 teachers there?

                      Thank you

Hi, i’m also impressed by what the parents has feedback on PCF curriculum. & starting to wonder is it going to be too fast a pace for my boy. He does not even know how to write his alphabets yet.

But already know his phonics well, then again. Not much of practise due to constant change to teachers in his current CCC. and i’m paying quite a sum after subsidy…
thinkin of changing him to a PCF near my house, but after reading what you all has wrote…has concern on the change…

                        can anyone advise?
