Yupz that is why I think joining RC is also quite a dangerous route in any case the boundaries get redrawn then oh oh. :scared:

Hi Jav- you mentioned previously that your spouse was promoted to executive member within a very short period of time- he should be able to get the answer from the chairman of the committee.

I am aiming at Rulang PS but this sch is hot cake in Jurong. I am staying within 2km range. When can I start to join in as volunteer? Where can I enquire about these volunteering things? From cc?

Since you are not staying within 1km of the sch, it's diff to get in even in P2B (via GRL or PV route).

Hi, my son is born in 2007 and should be registering Primary 1 next year. The only school that is within my vicinity is Nanyang Primary, which is unfortunately the popular school in this territory. I have tried being a parent volunteer, but got rejected. Now my only chance of being in P2B is to be a Grassroot Leader, can anyone advise

(1) under the Hollan-Bukit Timah GRC, how long will we be "observed" before being a Grassroot Leader?
(2) How long do they require you to serve as a Grassroot leader before they acknowledge you as one?
(3) will I have enough time to do so?
