Full.Cream, according to the webpage under 'Health Benefits' it says that Young children are however not recommended to take it, as the high contents of hormones might cause puberty to begin early.
I've taken that before as a dessert but I cannot imagine it is actually the dried fallopian tubes of true frog!!

hmmm...noone told me this hormonal thingy.
I also just found out it's the fallopian tube.... -

Thought this is good source of vit C for ribena and good for digestive system for yukult/vitagen.
Have you ever seen anything good come from Vitamin C? I've never.
In my experience, Vitamin C is the single most over-rated and useless \"vitamin\" in the market. It is completely and utterly useless.
As schellen has mentioned, cod liver oil (or any DHA source) and honey are the two important keys in our family health. I had to experiment for a while to discover this magic combination. If you google a bit, you'll find that both are well known for their immunity boosting and antibacterial properties.
Scott's Cod Liver oil capsules look like this: http://www.onlinegrocery.com.sg/shopexd.asp?id=408
They're easy to find and inexpensive (about $6)
I swear by the Chinese Songshan brand of honey, which is also inexpensive.
No need to waste your money with useless medicines. -

I grow up with this brand too. How much do you give? Direct from a spoon or dilute with water? TIA -
Jennifer:
sashimi takes this himself every morning. As for DD and me, we take the \"stick\" kind my mom buys from Oz whenever she goes there. Note that this is not the \"straw-like\" kind that they flavour and sell locally. My mom says she has not come across any stall/store here selling the kind she buys for us.sashimi:

Chinese Songshan? I never heard of it..Where can I usually find this brand of honey? -
meeyah:
sashimi buys it from the provision shop downstairs. NTUC has it too. It's called ζΎε±±. See pic in link taken from NTUC website: http://www.fairprice.com.sg/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10051&storeId=90001&productId=264427&langId=-1&categoryId=14091&parent_category_rn=14091&top_category=10057sashimi:

One teaspoon mixed with plain water, every morning. Taken directly is ok too, but it's too sweet like that for me.
I have found that ζΎε±± honey is also the most effective against lip ulcers. Applied directly to the ulcer, it will accelerate the healing. I've tried with other brands of honey and I am 100% on the fact that ζΎε±± is the fastest healer.
