Hi everyone,


I am new to this forum and also kind of new to the edu system now. I left singapore when my husband was relocated to the US about 4 years ago. Now eldest kid is P4 and we are back. He managed to get into the P4 level but is struggling now.

The P4 std has increased so much! I myself have difficulty in helping him. We have gotten a good Math one to one tutor but I realize he needs a lot of help for CHinese and English too. I have heard about TAS and it seems good. I would like to know from parents what they do in their lessons and their teaching styles or techniques?

Appreciate much any help for an extremely stressed mummy.

My DD has just started with TAS. She enjoys attending the 2 hrs lessons.

Usually the 1st hr is for compo writing and the remaining hr is for Paper2 which includes grammar, vocab, synthesis and compre. They do worksheets in class n no homework. DD said lessons are not boring but it also depends on the teachers teaching.
