Club 2002 Kids

Good morning club 2002.
This morning, I went to attend the principal talk for P4 parents cum meeting the FT. I came out feeling that DS have to put in alot of effort this year. Thereβs emphasis on working hard to meet the subject-based banding criteria for P5.
So, this year, Iβm gonna work with DS slowly, but surely, to meet the goals he have to set himself. -
I think I gave him tooooo holidays.
Yesterday did some model qns in Maths.
He did very badly. He forgot all the concepts.
Some more wrong in addition. 7+5=11
anyone's kid do like that?

DS school says if they fail one subject ( below 50), they have the option to do 4 standard papers or do the standard papers for the 3 subjects, and one foundation subject ( the failed one). If fail 2 papers, they can maybe recommend the child to take 2 standard papers, 2 foundation papers. If 2 or more subjects fail, he/she will be moved to foundation level. But the school said that they will help the weaker child at foundation level as they would want them to proceed on to Sec school.
So, I'll push DS to do his very best for all subjects and ensure he pass all. -

Hello to Club 2002 parents :celebrate:
I read about your kids having Supp class few days ago and was thinking to myself, :xedfingers: hopefully DD school will go easy... but last evening DD handed me the consent form for Supp class starting from next week, twice a week somemore compulsory :slapshead:. Wonder :scratchhead: is there a need to hold supp class when school term has just started? Its going to be hectic for our poor kids, no after school life

to think that they only in P4...how about next year and next next year? :faint:

Oh, your DD will start next week and twice per week too! Mine will start on 30 Jan (after CNY) every Monday & Friday and I think it will be 1.50 hour each
DD1's FT & Science T both have replied that the consent form and letter will issued to parents later and explained in details what they will be learning during the supplementary lessons
