I’m looking at the history balloting. Am I right to see that there is only balloting for st Andrews junior for more than 2 km? So those within 1 km all got in?

You are correct if you are talking about phase 2B.

For 2C 2010, there was balloting for those within 1km.

I was referring to 2011 phase 2c intake, so all those 1km got in st Andrews?

If there was balloting for those < 1km for 2010’s phase 2C,

then I believe there would also be balloting for < 1km in 2011’s phase 2C.

I’m new to this thread and would like to seek your advice. My son is a Jan 2009 kid and I would like to put him in Pei Chun. I understand from the Parent Volunteer Form that to qualify, we have to stay within 2km of the school. Although we intend to move by the time we register him for school, I’m wondering if it is truly necessary to have an address within 2km of the school to qualify for PV registration.

The school is being nice because historically, they require balloting for those living within 2km during phase 2B.


So they are offering PV duties to those living within 2km since those outside 2km will not even get a chance to ballot.

If you fully intend to move nearer to the school, you should state so in your application or they will likely just reject your PV application.

The school must have their reasons for making such requirement out of the home distance of PV applicants.

Hi Wendy, I just got rejected by Pei chun after attended their PV interview for child born in 2007 due to overwhem response. Reason: Will change from 2 session to 1 session. MOE require them tp cut down on the PV intake. Fyi, i lived between 1-2km.


Manwhile, any parents have kids studying at Marymount convent or CHIJ (Toa Payoh)? Can provide some comments on that school pls, as iam considering both option since Peichun is out?

I am keen to enrol my gal 2007 in chij Tpy too but I live more than 2km and looks like there is always balloting done for 1km, 1-2km. So low chance for me
