You bought him 1 or 2 pairs? I always find 1 pair not enough these days. Not like our time. Must always have spare. And my boys tend to run down their shoes really quickly! Furthermore, my boy is now upsizing his shoes every few mths. He requested for running track shoes for his PE and 2.4km. Also bc he liked to run with the other boys in his year. I did find that the track shoes lasted much longer than the BATA ones with the way he runs his shoes down!
I have already bought DS new bata shoes in Dec. He'll have to wear these until they give way or out grow them before I buy him track shoes...too bad for him

So the IP students and JAE students would probably be in different classes in JC then.
Don't know how to explain. The students who've gone through the IP would certainly need to have a different programme bc if they have the same programme as those who come in under JAE, there might be a lot of overlaps in their learning, since some of the materials would have been covered in the earlier years. So in the JC years, it'd probably be to expand on what has been covered and then to have it more exam-orientated.jtoh:
How is the programme different for those from IP vs JAE? -

One week of orientation is finally over. It had been an action packed week, filled with exciting activities, bonding and forging new friendships. The OGLs had been great, caring for them.
This weekend is to let them rest and get ready for next week. Brand new challenges ahead.
By the way, would like to check with fellow parents as to when will they know which CCA they are assigned to. Is it next week?
Thanks in advance. -

Have the JH1s already put in their CCA preferences? Is it still CAFE this year?

Yes. They have, on Thu. Teacher will spend this weekend arranging and fitting everyone in and Cafe starts on Monday.

Perhaps, since the school had their own shed of canoes there I think.
Very early for CAFE to start, but heard there's a different approach this year.
