To all parents of RGPS gals,

SA2 has commenced. All the best!

P.S., this time round, been busy with high season at work so poor little babe's at the receiving end of it all. Her week off was sooo crammed with last minute stuff 😐 - all lazy mummy's fault!

Anyway, cest la-vie! So long as she enjoys the school experience.

Just curious. Do the GEP students from P4-P6 in RGPS have to sit for 2 exam (the GEP paper and the school SA paper)? If they do then it would really stressful for them.

No. All GEP students sit for the centralized GEP exams conducted by the GEP branch from P4-P6. The only mainstream paper they sit for is the Prelim paper in P6.

Hi there parents of RGPS gals,

Was just in a discussion with some existing parents and they told me.....that there's NO SPORTS DAY?!?! πŸ˜› Initially thought it was becoz DD1 is in P1. Apparently not.

Whatever happened to sports being an integral part of growing up?
I remembered my primary school sports day. Also an all-girls school: making of pompoms, pracising house cheers, sack race (coz can't run for nuts), parents race...and iced milo from the truck πŸ˜‰

            Is that gone?

              Hi Andaiz,

Hi to all. I am thinking of a suitable pri sch for my daughter. I am an ex girl so going into RGPS is not a problem. Need some advice from parents who were also in the dilemma previously.

                  Hi Dharma,

How are the PSLE results distributed to the girls at RGPS? Do the girls gather in the hall and the P says a few words, gives statistics, announces the top student etc? Do the girls then go to their classrooms to pick up their slips? Thanks!

πŸ™‚ I'm trying not to think too much about it and enjoy these couple of weeks of blissful ignorance. πŸ˜„ Which schools are you and your dd considering?

                        Hi turquoise,

Just like u, I’m also enjoying myself not thinking too much about the results. Frankly, up till now, my dd2 refuses to say anything about the papers and we stopped probing. The maths paper frightens me considering the fact that maths is not really her strong subject. I dare not even think of the secondary schools for now. Hoping for all-girls school, if possible.
