For those who bake pineapple tarts, which store-bought paste you prefer? I used to get mine from Phoon Huat but family find it sweet. Anyone tried Kwong Siang Tai? TIA!

        Hi,

Does anyone know where I can buy lard used for baking, eg. the Sainsbury's brand? I could not find any from baking supply stores and supermarkets.

        I saw in Phoon Huat

          Hi

I wish to get the container used to bake molten chocolate cake (the warm chocolate cake in which the centre is runny chocolate sauce.

          Thanks!

You mean the ramekins, for individual servings, you can get them from Totts.

          Saw them in Robinsons too

Phoon Huat has almost all the things that you need for baking, whether CNY, Xโ€™mas, Moon cake, birthday, any types of parties.

Try the one inside Toa Payoh NTUC, it is quite well stocked up.

May i know whether mummies out there can make chocolate eclairs.

I am able to make chocolate eclairs. But my eclairs are ugly as I donโ€™t know how to pipe the batter out. In fact I did not pipe out, I just use spoons to scoop out and they are all irregular shaped.

May I know what equipment do i need to pipe eclairs? thanks!

Hi there, if you want your eclair to look great, you need to pipe it out. The items that you will be needed are piping bag and star noozle (preferably no. 822). You can get these items at Phoon Huat. If you do not know the address, pls google it as it have a number of branches in Singapore. Cheers!! ๐Ÿ™‚
