Hi Abacus trainer,

My boy just promoted to K1 and I'm thinking of signing up a trial lesson with CMA to see if he's ok. I'm currently staying slightly off upper bt. timah, nearer to Bt. Panjang. Had called up the Jelapang branch for the rates. Can I check if there's any other branches around my area that I can consider? I don't know about whether the branches do differ in the standards which I presume you would say they are the same...but if there is, care to let me know by pm?

I've read about the benefits of the left and right brain training of CMA which no doubt will be useful for development of the child in other areas and not just math in absolute definition. But I'm a little concern as I read somewhere that kids with abacus training during pre-school may have difficulties when they progress to primary as primary maths requires workings and uses modeling approach in which abacus trained kids are not accustomed to. Would you mind to share your honest opinion?
