Can I check if the student can bring mobile phone to school but only ‘on’ the phone after school?
Thanks. -
Yah…my girl is in sec. 1 this year and according to her, almost every kid is playing with their mobile phone before school starts in the morning.
-
My son is in Sec 1.
He brings his mobile phone to school everyday but set to silent during schooling hours.
By the way it is the end of 2nd week now, any of you decided to sew the buttons onto the uniform yet?
Or still removing them before every wash?
I don't like the key chain ring like design...:(
Saw the ones from CCH Main, they look a wee bit different. -
hah, nice to see this thread, i am an old girl for CCHB (it used to be situated at guillemard rd before moving to Yishan)
yes, i used to hate the removing of button every wash and i also find white uniform not practical for girls. -

If the buttons are sew on... will it be not 'user friendly' to the washing machine as the buttons will scratch the washing machine drum or vice versa? My son is in Sec 1.

The buttons are not cheap for CCH Yishun… 1 packet is $9 for 14 buttons with rings.

But can keep forever, right? My son not in CCH. He's in CHS secondary, and with 2 boys in primary for the past many years, we've many buttons. The buttons last. For the rings, you can just buy them from any stationary shop - many in a packet, if you need replacements. Another way that some parents do is to sew the buttons on. OR...sew the button onto a normal-sized shirt button and slip it into the button hole so you don't have to use the rings. HTH! -

Next, CCA:
My son got into Festive Drums. How about your child?
I will respect his choice and hopefully he is happy.
Festive Drums is 2 times weekly.
I think the time committed is quite balanced out with studying time which is the priority nonetheless. OK lor
Trust your child get into the CCA he/she like?
