The student left GEP or left HPPS for another GEP centre?

yshuang:
HPPS are much less:

Class R1 : 20 -1=19 ( one left after few days);
Class R2 : 21

MrBin:

New Update

566;23 class X 25 students per class= 575, 9 vacancy
SHPS 41 (20,21 ) -9
Rosyth 73 (25,24,24) -2
CHS 46 (24,22) -4
ACS 51 (26,25) +1
NYPS 102 +2
RGPS 69 (23,23,23), -6
NHPS 52 (26,26) +2
total -16

Any inputs from HPPS, TaoNan?
Even assume 5 classes of HPPS and TaoNan are all full, there are 16-9=7 students gave up GEP program

Even assume 3 classes of Tao Nan are all full, there are 25-9=16 students gave up GEP program.According to last year Tao Nan got 57 geppers, We can roughly know around 30(5%) selected gep students quit the program

Technically speaking... they didn't quit if they didn't opt for the program.

Huh ? Again ? I am so confused, poor kids, one test after another....1st day chinese & english test, 2nd day, chinese again, today, maths, dun know what next .... DS said totally unexpected & unprepared, dun know how he fares today πŸ˜“
I can understand why the p4 geppers have to sit for el,cl and math tests as they come from different schools. But p5 geppers still have to sit for el and cl diagnostic tests in the 1st week of school, really :siao: . Unless they expect some of the kids have improved their el and or cl within the 6 weeks of holiday. Perhaps this el or cl tests different things? I wonder whether other gep schools also have such tests.
Yes, DS was tested in Cl and Math so far. Like what comfy said - believe it's just a diagnostic test. Ds simply treat it as a class assignment. He was still in the honeymoon stage as RS had a series of ice-breakers and team building games planned out for the children last week. :grphug: Actual work will probably start this week.
My DD too had the test and ice-breaker for first week. after that, every day there is at least 1 maths worksheet..and those questions! its getting more and more ridiculous!
