Most kids, if they have been to a decent preschool or kindergarten, should be able to cope without any issues at least for the 1st 6mths.I get a feeling that DD1 is more than well prepared for P1. and P1 isn't as scary in academics as what I thought it would be.
Not sure if it is DD1 sch but the pace is very gradient.
Good and bad. DS is asking why P1 work so much like the stuff he has done in preschool. As experienced with DD, I have to look out for complacency. Because they think that the work is so easy, they tend to assume a lot of things and become careless. -

DD1 also asked why the hypy the teacher is teacher things she knows. So I told her some kids did not go kindy. I told her to pay attention and that soon the lessons will be more difficult :evil:
