Just bought mine at Jurong Poing NTUC, comes with 2 free gifts - a 3-in 1 cutting board and 3 cans of soup (think its fish maw, sharks fin and something else) redeemable at Philips Toa Payoh.
Tried using it on that day - potato wedges and nuggets turned out well, no oil needed. For fish, I tried Saba and Salmon but put little oil on advice of promoter - the Saba was kind of dry but Salmon was ok, but instead of 'deep fried', it turned out to be something like 'grilled'. -

Just bought one too. Going to try it tonite. Sakura, did you put the fish direct into the frying basket? Will the fish skin stick to the wires of the frying basket? How long did you cook the fish?

What about the cleaning part? Is it easy to clean the airfryer? And does the food taste as good as oven baked? Can I put in salmon or cod fish to airfry?
For food like chicken wings, I find the skin does stick to the frying basket so I put in aluminium foil. Then it's easy because just need to throw the foil away and minimal cleaning. For nuggets n fries, no sticking issue so no need for foil and just wash as per normal.
Haven't cooked fish yet so can't comment. -
how is the environment when using the air fryer?
does the room smell?
are the floor and table top oily? -

Agree. Was deciding between the airfryer and a real fryer today at Best Denki and I took a 1litre Tefal deepfryer for $99. Well designed and easy to clean. I put the fryer in the backyard so the smell and oil won't dirty my kitchen.sounds quite bad ... it's so expensive!
if it's 199 i will buy.
The sales lady also agreed that the airfryer can't produce the same result as a deep fryer when it comes to meat / fish. Might as well buy an oven which can grill, bake, roast etc if you can only get grilled effect.
