My guess only - the school might have already decided on those to give rejects or confirmed offers. For those being interviewed and thus, less uncertain cases, the decision should be fairly fast once they talked to the students.

I remember reading previous posts in this thread that the results are usually released just before the PSLE oral... :roll:

My DS wasn't called up for interviewing after the last selection camp.

So now just cross my finger & wait for the result coming out next week..

Was it announced that results will be out next week? If interviews are being carried out next week, will they be able to make a decision so quickly?

Thought the NUS High School Preview session is on 17 August (Saturday)? If that is the case, the selection results will have to be out latest by next week isn't it? :scratchhead:

Yesterday was the DSA camp, can anyone share the experience ? How it was conducted ? I just saw some students assembled at the concourse only. Thanks.

DS only told me Physic was okay, bio and chemistry were difficult, his science science is not very good, for the 1st round selection test he said he can only answer 1 question of science, the rest don't know :yikes:

DS said about the same things too but overall he enjoyed the camp, which Is good enough for me

Sorry, she rem clearly,something to do w yeast. It might not be same every year. Don't worry, just go enjoy,dont need to prepare anything, let the kid relax so they might perform better than expect.[/quote]

I'm trying to update my iPad to ios6 (its still at old ios4) but when I try to update using PC, it keeps saying iTunes update server cannot be contacted. I tried to disable the firewall and make sure that there is internet connection but it still doesn't work. Anyone can help here?

1) Make sure you are using the latest version of iTunes.

Thanks a lot for your reply. Prior to writing to kiasu parents forum I've actually went into the Apple forum and tried out all the suggestions but to no avail. I called the Apply helpdesk and after close to 20 mins of trouble shooting over the phone, the guy eventually asked me to contact Windows instead.

I do not own a Mac and I got advice from one of the sales person at the Epi centre to head down to the Apple repair centre at Wheelock. I was told they do updates for customers at a fee. Will probably try that later.
