set the minimum fine at S$1m per incident and the service will improve in no time. guaranteed!

such token fine of S$100 is like telling the transport operators "never mind, just showing the public I fine you already, don’t waste time trying to improve service, they will never be satisfied one"

or, may be the PTC people are appointed by the transport operators ? who set up the PTC one ?

Then you will see a lot of people going up the bus, come off next stop and then take the next one that comes along…

Hmm, maybe if the first time the card is tapped, smrt will put back $1 to the card? But then hor, IT guys will be cursing and swearing at all the programming work to be done.

\"...More details about the future Thomson Line have been revealed.
The MRT line which will link Marina Bay to Woodlands will intersect other MRT lines at seven points...
The Thomson Line which will be fully underground will also have 23 stations in all, the report added.
The seven interchanges will give commuters more and quicker options...\"

Do we really need so many lines and stations?
Dunno to cry or laugh at our transport system... :faint:

More lines and stations means more jobs needed to do maintenance?
