Can a student in the express stream apply for the RSP?
Yes, and yes. The relevant info and application form can be found http://www.acs.sch.edu.sg/acs_indep/pages/Regional_Studies_Programme. Note that the closing date for applications is this Friday 20 Jan 2012.ngbrdad:

The school calendar says its CNY celebrations tomorrow. Is there early dismissal and do they need to wear the corporate-T?
From what my son told me, they finish later than usual - at 2.40 :yikes: coz the white space time is being used for the celebrations. He did not mention anything about having to wear the corporate T but I will check with him later. -

If you are referring to the Regional Studies Programme, I think it is only open to Year 1 IP students according to the school website. -

Students are encouraged to wear their ethnic costumes school tomorrow. Corporate-T is usually worn on the last Friday of every month.clayman:

For tomorrow, lesson will carry on as usual until 11.45am. The celebration will start at 12 noon and should end by 1 pm. However, CCA in the afternoon (if any) will continue as usual. -

You are welcome. It's not his fault. The orginal plan for the CNY celebration was from 1pm - 2pm. So, he was not wrong in saying that the whitespace was used for the celebration. The decision to change the time to 12pm was only sent out yesterday. He should have been informed by his CT today.
Thanks bigfoot. I just wonder where my DS gets his info from!! :scratchhead:

Does anyone happen to know who is in charge of the administration of the Year 1 CCAs?
Thanks. -

Overall in charge of CCAs would be Mr Chan Chee Wei. However, the CCAs are normally further divided into types of sports and games, uniformed groups, and other activities.Does anyone happen to know who is in charge of the administration of the Year 1 CCAs?
Thanks.
