ya... the school did not mention abt wearing traditional wear.. think for Primary onwards .. won't have such practise le.. as difficult to monitor....

ds sch newletter stated wearing trad clothes

ds sch give newsletter to indicate, den ask ds to write in handbook.. plus FT sms me to remind.. so many reminders of wearing traditional clothes, definitely remember. but also ask us not to let them wear jeans and tee shirt.. n muz wear sch socks n shoes..

about drawing block, ds2 tr kept theirs in school also. so everytime art lesson, if they need, they just take from there. the art folder is also kept in school for now.

think they keep completed drawings in there? cos there is a content page.

ds1 however, will fold his drawing paper (1-2 sheets each Art and Craft lesson), and put in his file in his bag then bring to school. he doesn't like to bring the drawing block.

ds drawing block still at home leh....maybe let him bring on next art lesson

hmm.. ds bring his drawing block to sch liao.. coz written in handbook and ask him to bring.. n they kept it in their class..

Daddy D, I am looking at the BMI chart.. You sure they wrote your DD as underweight??

Underweight BMI for 7 years old is 12.9 - 13.1

                  Acceptable Weight 5th ~ 85th percentiles is 13.2 ~ 18.3
                  Acceptable Weight 85th ~ 90th percentiles is 18.4 ~ 19.1
Exactly! Dd is definitely not underweight...
That's why I'm puzzled at what machine/chart the school is using.
Or if all other schools are measuring it wrong too?
                  :faint:

The teacher told the class, but DD1 said no one laughed at her. The girl even promised to improve herself the next round šŸ˜„ . The teacher should have done it discretly w d girl, but it's the girl's attitude I admire :rahrah: .

Told DD that's the spirit, nvr put down by others.

My dd said they had reading test today... A lot of words to pronounce...

She said she got most correct, some wrong, and some dunno how to pronounce.
                        Jiat lat.... :faint:
And my dd can pronounce \"catastrophe\" lor...
So I'm very puzzled at what are the words that she dunno...
And what's the rationale to read such \"chim\" words... :stupid:
