Anyone has any problems getting the HCL 1A workbook? I didn't get it last year because it was not mentioned in the booklist. Now that the teacher requires it, I've been to many Popular Book Stores but it's out of stock. They told me nationwide.
Check with RI bookstore see if they still has the stock ... -

Any of your ds doing the research on challenges of senior citizens? The word limit for the proposal paper is 500. Must they keep strictly to this limit? Will the paper be penalised if no. of words exceeded 500? Any idea?

Think all year one boys get the same topic for RE. DS will be meeting his team mates to discuss tomorrow, after school (at a boy's house).
DS says there is no CNY celebration tomorrow, so they will have lessons as usual. They also don't need to wear CNY clothes, just wear school uniform, as usual. No CNY celebration? Can't be true, right??? -

CNY clothes is only for primary school kids lah .....
Actually DS has never worn traditional CNY clothes to school before, not even when he was in kindergarten or primary school, as he found them to be too hot and uncomfortable to wear (DS is prone to rashes). Usually DS would wear a red t-shirt with PE shorts.
But when I got ready 2 RED t-shirts for DS1 & DS2 to wear to school tomorrow, DS1 exclaimed 'mom, there won't be any CNY cele at RI tomorrow, we must wear school U to school, as usual'.. Maybe DS1 just wanted to 'siam' wearing the RED t-shirt to school...
:siam:

DS say the same thing, they are gathering their old schoolmates to visit their ęÆę ”. This is really a very nice idea from RI, to have their students showing their gratitude during this festive season.
Ya, DS & friends (from his primary school) are going back to their 'mother school' to vist their teachers too. After that, he will go back to RI to meet his RE group for some 'light' discussion.
And yes, DS just told me that they will have lo-hei at RI today. My DS2 also have lo-hei at his primary school today. Wow, it seems quite common nowadays, for schools to have lo-heis for their students, perhaps hoping that their results & ranking will go.. UP UP UP !!!
