I don’t think there is any "streaming" done for P1 classes, if that is what some of you are suspecting.
In NCPS, the classes remain the same thoughout P1 and P2, unlike other schools where they start to move around the students from P2. -
hi all,
Meizi - which class will you child be attending ? i need to sort out the logistics first before deciding on whether can let my girl attend the 2 camps. Actually intending to enrol her in Polaris student care in Dec for familiarisation first. But Polaris very firmly stated that there is no sending/fetching for school holiday programmes conducted at NCPS.
lwm99 - Tks for letting us know. So grouping of P1 kids is purely random, or like going according to which phase the parent registers at ?
btw, any 2010 ncps P1 kids going to enrol at Polaris during this Dec ?
Tks.

Is it the first time your child in student care centre ? You can pay for the whole month but can place your child after the NCPS course ,just for her to familiar for 2 weeks before school re-opens. During School holidays , actually I feels that you should spent more time with your child rather then place her to Polaris Student care centre , if possible , of course. No offends.
Check with Polaris care centre whether is possible a not. -

Thanks lwm99, that's great. Checked with my colleague, yes and her son was moved to a different class in year 2. Just wonder why the school wanted to 'create' this. Sigh!I don't think there is any \"streaming\" done for P1 classes, if that is what some of you are suspecting.

Since me and hubby will be on leave to bring my boy for the classes, I will be registering both. Right now clearing annual leave before forfeit at year end so its a good time
Gabriel is taking HYPY now at SKCC so I am really contemplating whether to register him with NCPS that one. However since we are already there for the English (he never had any additional English class before except from his regular kindergarten programme) so we thought might as well let him continue with the two sessions.
Gabriel will be in Class 3 during orientation. My first kid to go primary school. -
What I understands that some schools sent the school booklist plus the orientation letter to parents.
Have NCPS any booklist attached together too. I'm wondering.... :?
Anyone can confirm?
Thanks. -

Hi Meizi,
Thks for the info. Maybe, wait till 23/11 or 24/11 NCPS will then gives us the booklists. -
Hi, my gal will be in P1 too in ncps.
I’m planning to give my gal to attend tuition at Just Education.
Will it be too stress for her to attend tuition at this age?

In my personal view, wait till your girl familiarize to primary school educations and the environment before we decide whether they need any tuition. Furthermore, we don't even know which subjects she's good in or bad yet. Still early, to says.Hi, my gal will be in P1 too in ncps.
