Absolutely 100% looking forward to it. Kids are thrilled, great food at my mum's and MIL's, time with relatives, mahjong with old friends, drinking with neighbours......
      What's not to like?

          OMG. I love CNY!!

SO looking forward to it!! A long-weekend for resting, collecting tons of angpao money and eating sweets, biscuits, drinking soft drinks, eating bakkwa and sticky cake like nobody's business. LOL 😂

Here, I wish everyone a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very happy and auspicious Chinese New Year!

          祝贺大家新年快乐,万事如意。 花开富贵, 子孙满堂。 年年有余, 龙年行大运!

CNY is always exciting cos it’s the only time where we meet up our friends and relatives. There are always lots of delicious home-baked cookies.

The festives mood usually comes in when I start baking New year cookies.

CNY for me is tolerating relatives bull-shxttxng about how well their kids are doing. Oh.. Ah Seng is talking to investors who are interested in putting money into his internet venture (still talking after 3 years). Ah Mei runs her own design agency (whatever that means), Ah Jie's husband is high-flying ang mo, can you see my mix-blood grandson so handsome? .

hahaha...UncleLim, think you are pretty young coz for me, I kind of enjoy the above BS and boasting and then think inside my heart who can 'blow the biggest cow! Actually, I take this as part of the fun of meeting different types of relatives / friends / etc during CNY. They are predictable, aren't they?

When people start to bull and boast, I will 'cheer' along to help them to make the bubble BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGER... (so I am 'well liked' by everyone! hahaha...)

              Gong Xi Fa Cai!

yup.. :goodpost: dun take it too hard 和气生财!

My family had a better than expected time during reunion and the 1st day of new year, really enjoyed myself. Hope all others had a good time too!
