Mine ran to embassy without locking my door, gate & close all windows. My whole laminated floor was flooded with rain water from 9am-9pm & I have to change most for the flooring under my own cost as this is not covered by insurance. Luckily i stayed in corner unit at pt block, otherwise I cannot image what will happened after leaving door easily access to public for 12hrs!
Maid is doing this because they know MOM will protect them on human rights & 99% break away from loan & contract bonds. MOM is aware of this issue but they cannot return maid to you if maid refuse to work for you. For my case, MOM asked if I am willing to transfer her & I said \"NO\" because by doing this I will not get my outstanding loan back. However after one week, I was informed by letter that her work permit was cancelled by MOM & being tranferred with temp permit to another employer. Thus I'm in a situation that I have to chase after maid agency on my outstanding money like loan shark as MOM mentioned that loan is not under their care. -

mine that run away was indo.. yes now all maids are very well informed, they know they can go to MOM or embassy if they are unhappy with their employers..
u can get another replacement maid whereby the outstanding loan will be passed over to her... this is what my agency practised...was this stated in the contract? -
