Life after 2011 PSLE
-
Mvm:
Via Appeal can always be considered a form of Supplementary DSA - bc it is never totally about the PSLE scores. Other factors may be considered - the students' profile, CCA records, future contribution to the school....
We know of a few with COP of less than 250 who got into NYGH via appeal!! And for HCI, below the official COP too. I think it depends pretty much on who you know and how well you them. :siam:Pen88n:
I also know this year HCI and NYGH do not accept appeals whose T-score are exactly at their COP. This is really dependent on the schools' vacancies for the year.

He got t-score 243 (or about), and he is in HCI now. Previously, he was on HCI's WL via DSA (volleyball). He DSAed for RI but was rejected. He also DSAed for CHS but i am not sure of the outcome. -

Saw the boy last year in United Sq. Was he in Learning Lab? My dd couldn’t recognise him after 6 years.

Wa firefly u 无事不通 :imcool:[/quote]Paisey.. My good friend happens to stay in Nuovo (where PLL stays), so she has first-hand info from HSN (PLL's hubby). PLL is rather secretive about her son's results, but HSN is more sociable and chatty, I heard.firefly38:

Ya, he was with TLL for more than one subject!Saw the boy last year in United Sq. Was he in Learning Lab? My dd couldn't recognise him after 6 years.

Dont know anything about CXH.. Sorry!
What school is your DD in, friendship? -
so my guess is correct, i saw CXH, PLL while waiting for TLL not always but occassionally. My dd was in the same class in TLL for one of the replacement class with PLL’s son. DD couldn’t recognise him nor did I till we recognise the mother after the class.
PLL is still staying in the same place.
My dd is in RGS.
Saw several times CXH in united sq. The daughter is wearing Nanyang uniform but I only see the first daughter whom she fetched. I never see CXH with her other children. May be the maid fetch. Her daughter also in TLL many subjects I guess. -
