      Hi HAPPYH, thanks for sharing!

So at least that explains why alot of A students are in enrichment, ie, get ahead of the cohort, an early start to revision papers...and higher chance of ace-ing the exams!
if you ask the top 10 students in the top class if any one has tuition/enrichment, chances are that 9 out of 10 have such.

100% true. Early revision could also help Cs to get Bs. Revision and practice is very important. If you start your revision slightly earlier, you will have time to concentrate on weak areas, if there is any.

:hi5: :goodpost: DD1 told me that the top 2 student in her class has tuition/enrichment classes for the \"6\" subjects - Maths, English, Science, Chinese, English Creative Writing and Chinese Creative Writing! And it is not private tuition - parents send the child to \"top/established\" centre for the \"6\" different subjects šŸ˜“ šŸ˜“

DD1 said that the 2 girls' parents are very strict with them - no T.V. after 8pm and it means either doing assessment books or reading books :lightrod: And both of them have a \"common trait\" - doing EL assessment books 2 levels up, ie they are doing P6 EL now! :siam:

I think this post speaks the mind of several parents.

I am happy to know that. More happy than words can express. I feel like a broken record and sometimes I wonder if I am weird to see/write all these things and then have parents read between the lines of my posts to see (1) excess of kiasuism and (2) child tyranny.

                    :hugs:

I have enjoyed reading your posts and started contributing more to this forum after reading your earlier posts. I feel your sincerity to reflect our concerns for the mass. That is honorable. I am sure there are other parents who feel the same way just by looking at some of the responses you got here šŸ™‚
