Hi, does any one knows whether this wed, 25jan is normal sch day of just CNY celebrations? My p1 child told me that she is allowed to wear home clothes to sch. What is the reporting time? Why isn't there any letter and information on it? Or did I miss the letter?

Wednesday wear the CNY cloth eg. Cheongsam or red clothes.

Hi i am new to this forum and have been a silent reader of thos thread and the interesting article .


Mangai, my son also born in 2008 and me too intend to sign up as PV but i am staying >2km from the school dun noe will the school reject me or not.

Anyway I will be sending in my form this year to try my luck if base on distance they reject me then i think i have to consider other school already.

You should be fine to PV but you need to consider the risk since you are out of 2km.
Based on last year intake, 2B out of 2km requires ballot and 2C within 1km requires ballot.

I am quite happy with the no homework so far :). Just let them enjoy sch first. My gal is very shy and quiet type, I was initially worried abt her coping with Pri sch. Am glad she is managing so far.
