Your daughter's hair, long or short?

It took a long while to convince my P6 dd to cut her hair short. She now agrees that it \"saves\" time for her - no more hassle tying it up in the morning and shorter time in drying! Also lesser hair dropped due to lighter weight or pulled by the band. Some of her friends followed suit later on...tiis mom is \"for\" short hair...My girls are in a All Girl school (P5/P6) and I have noticed almost 80% of the upper pri girls have long hair.
Actually I am sick of my girls long hair (only tie pony tail) without any nice style. I brought them to cut their hair yesterday and they now have a bod hair style, slightly long in front but short behind. They love it as it looks so fashionable.
Just need to show them some nice pic of short hairs. Of cos the style also must suit them too.
Cost me total of $50 for both cuts but i think it is worth it. -
My 10 year old has not cut her hair for the past 2 years!
She just refuses to step into a hair saloon.
Yes, i think it is a trend for girls these days to have long hair.
Her friends are now growing their hair long.
Previously it was so difficult to get her to wash her hair frequently.
Went to library and borrowed a book on hair lice.
She felt so disgusted after reading it.
Now she is washing her hair almost daily, if not then every other day! -
After I bought a pair of scissor that cost me $90. I am now my gal’s "official" hairstylist, hee (as if she has a choice) … kee
I guess I am not very impressed with those stylist out there… to think of it if they don’t do a good job, a haircut for 20bucks + is not really worth spending loh… -
DD#1 has long hair that's past shoulder length...and since she's started P1, we've swept part of her bangs up (and growing) coz it gets too top heavy and covers her eyes so quickly...
DD#2 is a \"hon bao\" and always prespiring buckets even while sleeping so she's got a bob, and every time we go to the hairdressers (my mum cuts their bangs) every quarter, we TRY and layer the hair so that it's less thick.
DD#3 has a \"tail\" which is from foetal hair (yalah, figured since she'd be the last, let's do something radical!
) but the rest of her hair is \"bowl style\" - another known prespirant (??!!??) so again, hair is thinned. -
My girl's hair has never been cut... she doesn't have much as a baby, but now she has this lovely natural curls that make her look like a doll. Can't bear to cut THAT  .
Heehee, my 7 years old DD also doesn''t have much hair as a baby and I let her keep her hair till now. She has straight waist length hair and she can't bear to let me bring her to the hairdresser to trim it shorter.
However, long hair is more difficult to manage.
She still needs my maid to wash her hair and she needs to tie her hair everyday before going to school.
As she has long hair, she needs to let her hair dry after each wash before she can tie her hair. She needs to wake up an hour earlier for that. -
Can any one recommend good shampoo for young girl (7yrs old). Ever since she starts to learn swimming, I have difficulty combing her hair after she wash it. Is adult shampoo suitable for them? :?

Adult shampoo is not suitable for kids. You can try the Loreal kids shampoo and kids hair conditioner.
My DS has to use conditioner after every wash or her hair will be all tangled up. -

My girl is using johnson and johnson shampoo - conditioning formula. I leave it a while on her hair before washing off. Her hair is soft and shiny.vlim:
