then again it depends on the age. i think when they are younger it’s alright to be simple. if we start out lavishly, the sky’s the limit hahas. not to forget their 16, 18 and 21st birthdays? hahas!

Haha, parties can be simple but still very fun.
It is a joy to be able to plan kid's birthday parties because the smiles on their faces are so precious. As they grow older, they tend not to enjoy parties as much (esp when they are in their teens) -

hmm then it's actually rather expensive... i think i'll get a party organiser instead... -
Ran out of time waiting for DH to decide and settled on Amazonia… …lucky someone gave up booked time slot.
