& I will choose to believe that pte bus operator regarding the threat & warning he receives,coz now his bus has 4 empty seats,but he doesn’t dare to take my friend’s & my kid!! Why would he not want our business & waste the 4 seats??

FQW, we did tell them we don’t mind paying more for them to install seat belts,but they said per seat installation is ard $400,so for whole bus will be >$20k!? & this bus is very old already,so not wise to install in case time to scrap soon…
So 40-50 students’ lives are not worth $20k:) sigh! -

I'm not going to mince my words here. From the way I read how the events unfolded, looks like you find the bus service not up to expectation, you've complained the the sch; P, VP and OM took note of your feedback and acted on it by meeting and then issuing a severe warning to the driver.Jennifer,
No point de..Mr TEO was in the meeting also,with the principal & 1VP..all打官腔,the way they handle is just pushing us ard & worse,make us face the 'buay song' faces of driver & attendant! Coz they warned driver that actually want to sack him (coz we feedback that he drives quite fast thus we worried coz no seat belts,esp after accident)but will give him 1 chance..& I don't understand why principal didn't meet that parent,b4 meeting bus operator..should find out more from parents at meeting 1st & should not arrange to meet one after another! Very insensitive & in fact,brainless!! The parent was so shocked when she saw the bus operator,driver & attendant!!& they saw her also:(
For all their effort, they're being labelled as insensitive and brainless? Yes, we may think that they might have done better. But they certainly don't deserve to be served with such brickbats.
I think we should be fair with our comments. Agree? -

Wow! So bus auntie got ask your girl for your name!!:) ya I also not much choice coz my best choice of swooping bus is dashed coz the other bus driver don’t dare take us:( really 觉得很冤！
Think I will let my girl take for this yr,end of yr inform them not taking next yr…then next yr switch bus…hope they won’t harass the bus driver if existing bus operator happen to find out I swop!sigh!
Btw anyone knows the agreement we signed with bus,was notification period stated? I lost mine:( -
FQW,u are missing my point…sorry if u find my words piercing…I am referring to the fact that they arranged to meet the Parent AFTER meeting the operator,instead of before!!
& the appointment time was one after another!!
How would u feel If u are the parent? & mr Teo specifically told the parent to go alone! -
Anyway, parents who r not in it,will not understand how we feel…
one of the parents,coz of no seat belts,chose to pick her child herself by public bus & mrt,coz her child always fall asleep on way home on bus…she’s worried that her child will fall down from the seat…this year she really can’t pick,thus join in to sign the letter…ok,fine!!i think we are just all too naive to believe that something can be done!! -

The thing is, if sch didn't take notice of your concern - in your own words, they just go thru the motion - why did they go to the extent of threatening to sack the driver?
How would u feel If u are the parent? & mr Teo specifically told the parent to go alone! I feel that the way they handle is JUST go through the mOtion only!! Thus they didn't consider all these details at all!!
You're right that there is something I don't understand. What I really don't understand is that why are we so afraid to get exposed to the driver as the 'complainer'; yet have no qualms about labelling our sch's mgt as brainless in a public forum like this? -

That’s the point! How come they wait till we write in,then threaten to sack?& not right after the accident?!
& we are given no choice to change bus,but still have to face the driver & auntie 5days a week!!
I am just sharing ,to let people know that by going through the ‘proper’ way to deal with certain matters…may not solve problems & in fact creates more problems!
I apologize for the words I choose to use!
But unless u facing the same problem/worry,please don’t add on to our frustration! While u r ‘worried’ about cca,we are worried about safety of our children.thanks! -
