My family is new here in Singapore ( Sengkang area )… Please enlighten me on how to go about the Primary One Registration for 2013… My daughter born in 2006 is currently K2 in Nativity Church Kindergarten will be going to Primary 1 next year… Thanks…

Hi hi,

not sure if I am posting this in the correct thread.
My gal needs to enroll for P1 this year for next year’s intake, under phase 2c. I have another son.
We are living within 1km of Rosyth and XinMin, but based on historial data, those living within 1km needs balloting. We are quite torn if we should try my gal for Rosyth.
Else we intend to put her in CHIJ our lady of nativity by using guardian’s address cos she will be caring for my girl after school in future.
Hope someone can provide some advise.

If you intend to use guardian's address, it will be considered as 1-2km category when there is balloting.

Really feeling the stress now…


I’m currently renting a property so technically I can relocate and rent anywhere else just to be closer to schools for my kids.

DD is Singaporean joining the 2013 intake.
DS is a foreigner joining 2016 intake.

Question is… What school should I target for DD so that in future DS can also go to a decent school ideally the same school but if not (since he is non-Singaporean) then at least a reasonably good school within the same vicinity?

Of course if we really were to purposely rent a place for DD school chances then the chances must be high! No point going through all the hassle just to be balloted out and back to square one.

I have read through a lot of the discussions and analysis here and still have no idea what to do!

Veteran? I never go through Phase 2C what!

Somemore now have to register at Phase 1 then withdraw register in Phase 2C.

Need to consult those have done \"Withdrawal & Insertion Method\" P1 registration.
