      Plum-cake,
I'm using MC 'My Pals Are Here' Homework book to coach my daughter...prob is in each chapter, there are diff stuff thrown in like adverbs, antonyms & connectors and I don't usually get her to do stuff before her teacher teaches. :frustrated:
A lot of stuff going on parallel since school started.
      Hi,
I went to popular, saw that book not bad, but didn buy. because I have enough assesments for english.
fairfeild all in one is with explenation. so Its easy to teach. They have seperate book for comprehension as well.

I saw new books from eph as well. :frustrated:

        Hey plum cake,

Suddenly I just don't know what to get for my gal in p2 ๐Ÿ˜ข bcos teacher is moving faster, I have to get her to do a little more everyday...with my older one in p6 and having tuition/suppl lessons, I have more quiet time this year. She is complaining, so now have to think of carrots to motivate her.

Found the singular/plural nouns in 'language' section of teachers' production just now...so got her to get that page done...tooth-teeth, ox-oxen, fairy-fairies...she needs frequent reminders.

For those using Elite for Primary 4 EL, how do u find this assessment book.

For EL assessment, is it better to get those all in one or by specific components? TIA ๐Ÿ˜„

For P2 I've used Grammar practice by study helpers
most of the time I've used the all in-one exam paper type books.
Learners basic english grammar as a guide.

                    Hi evergreen
I've used this for grammar when she was in P2

                    http://i39.tinypic.com/2w56s0y.jpg\">
the book cover is similar to this but p2.
I bought this book from Times book shop. I not sure it is available now. because now MC has come out with new titles for english language.

you can have a look at grammar skills new edition by learners.

I bought 2 or 3 grammar titles from Times last year...MC was clearing old titles. Basically grammar rules don't change. Think I bought this title for P5...didn't use it last year. So will keep for younger one. Planning to start him on Elite 6 soon.

                        Hi champion/plum cake,

I just started my daughter on Elite P2 today...the diagnostic test is so comprehensive :yikes: Grammar MCQ questions alone consist of 15 questions. I got her to take a break after the grammar cloze or she will protest.

Mummies with kids in P5, pls control yourselves from buying too many for P6. I am trying to squeeze in time for my son to work on synthesis, comprehension cloze and vocab. It's only today I can finally get him to work on vocab.
