Wah.. ur dd SS teacher very ON. Mine his teacher leave it to them to DIY, not collecting anything until 8th Feb 1st draft for the write up.
2D family tree no draft to be submitted, 17 Feb final.
My DS knows the date, but like not working on it ..maybe waiting for the tree to drop.

The 2D family tree was done in sch and dd said the teacher must approve it before they can do it on the actual one for submission.blessmum4:

Hi, my dd is in RGPS and her 1st draft for 2D tree is already over and the draft writeup is due on 8th Feb. Frankly, this project is pretty tedious. For 2D tree, dd was using microsoft word and faced difficulties in linking the family tree. Now ended up doing actual drawing of boxes in the A3 size paper.
Draft write up, needs comparision. Cracking head now....

My DD in RGPS too! Which class is she from? I doubt the same class cos theirs due on 8th and she hasn’t even done her interview! The teacher already told them not to use computer to do the family tree right? She had explained that there will be difficulties aligning them. -

Oh, seems like different schools have different deadlines & guidelines on how to do up the 2D family tree. DS2's class for submission of draft 2D family tree is today, write-up by 17 Feb. Can use computer for the family tree, even the interview Q & A can do it on computer which we did yesterday, got DS2 to type the questions on the computer 1st before we start the interview & he typed out the answers using the computer during the interview. my DS too, taking it easy ..i think our boys' school is more \"relaxed\" compared to the other GEP schools hor ??? Anyway DS said his family tree is supposed to be done on vanguard sheet ...not on computer software programs like RGPS etc, is that the same instruction given to your DS too ? -

Yes. On A3 paper or vanguard sheet. DS chose to do on vanguard sheet. My DS said the teacher draw and show how it is suppose to be presented. On one hand, I am glad he does not have that many of cousins else how to place all on it?
Tomorrow is the draft for the writeup submission. -
