Maybe you can try teacher Gail from Icl. Recommended by some parents in another thread. I have enrolled my DD in her class too. But she needs 4 students to start the class… So we are still waiting…

Yah pls note that her class is in Bedok north

Hello, anyone have recommendations for intensive Phonics/English tutorials? My girl is now in K2 & she is very weak in her reading. Need to buck up quickly as nxt yr she will be in P1.

Heyya mc_parent, does your girl still require intensive phonics coaching?
Intensive language coaching will definitely help her catch up. Hopefully in time to cover even grammar and compre and if she's fast + receptive... perhaps can squeeze in simple written expression as well.

You may PM me if you still need the intervention for your girl.

            Hi MC Parent,

You may want to consider ICR at Rivervale Mall. Ask for Teacher Micheal!
They have intensive classes there. He worked wonders for my DS.

            Best Regards,

my 3 kids attend this childcare centre at Upper Thomson where they have a segment every week on phonics. My 2nd youngest at 4 can read really well now as compared to when he started and was totally clueless.

you can pm me if you need more info

Just want to add-on that phonics is super useful. It makes primary school spelling tests so much easier. Sometimes no studying is needed and the words can just be magically spelt.
