Hi everyone, I am new to this forum but found it very insightful so far. Does anyone know the school bus contact as well as any feedback on their dentist in school? Is the dentist gentle and nice?
Which school are you referring to? :scratchhead: -

If your questions are directed at a specific school, you might want to pose your questions at the school's parents' networking thread: http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewforum.php?f=38 -
Oops…sorry…wanted to check for IJ TP. will post in the correct tread then.

No apologies necessary!
You are more than welcome to post your questions in this thread. I just thought that if you post your questions in the IJ TP networking thread, you will get more \"authoritative\" answers, directly from parents whose child is studying in the school.
Good luck! -

Hi, Shalomger. I am moving to Toa Payoh lor 2 this July 2012. I need to transfer my daughter who is currently Primary 4 from a school in bukit panjang to a school in Toa Payoh. I need your advice. My daughter is more comfortable speaking in English than Mandarin. She also reads more English books than Chinese books. On one hand, I hope that her Chinese will improve in Kheng Cheng's environment, but on the other hand I worry that she will feel \"out of place\" in the \"chinese\" environment. What do you think. By the way, do you think it is easy to do a transfer at Primary 4? If I do the transfer next year, I worry the travelling for half a year to bukit panjang will be too tiring. Also, how many classes are there in KC for primary 4, which one is the \"academically good\" class.Hi to parents who are sending their kids to KC! My son has spent the last three years here and has enjoyed himself tremendously. The teachers work very closely with the parents & are dedicated to the kids. Also found that my DS's mandarin improved in KC. They have HMT and MT available with excellent Mandarin teachers. Even hubby was decidedly impressed by them.
KC's niches are basketball and chess. DS was in the school chess team from P1. The teacher in charge is Mrs Ho, a very nurturing teacher who loves her charges as her own. The Chess team and its parents are like a family. Very warm and friendly.
KC is definitely not a \"lousy neighborhood school\". I have witnessed the extra efforts the staff puts in to help the kids. This year they were recognized to be one of the most improved schools. I am sure they will keep on improving. Don't pass them on or \"see them no up\". I love how they reinforce excellent values in their students.
I hope your kids will enjoy their time with this school. DS has enjoyed his three years and we part ways with KC with a somewhat happy yet heavy heart. DS is moving on to a new school due to his acceptance into the GEP. We see KC as being a partner in bringing him over to this new chapter of his life with us.
