Oh Pooh, your son in P2 too? Hmmm.. I will go and ask my son about the homework thing that u mentioned. I think its fine for them to write the Han Yu Pin Ying for our sons to try to figure out the answer themselves. But to just give the answer is wrong. Then again, I also guilty to just giving him the answer sometimes esp when I don't have time to explain or after numerous explantaion, he still does not understand.Yellow belt
My son also attends morning stars n come back with homework. Ask him why he didn't finish it in the centre, he say not enough time.
Recently I discovered something though my son homework. I saw some pencil makings in e hao peng you, the assessment is for Pri 2. So I ask my son how he can do it. He said Morning Stars Aunty gave the answer to him. On some occasions, the Aunty will write down the answer on a paper n ask my son to copy. Answer is given without explaining.

Thatβs y check all his work and make sure he understand. In fact, I have checked with my Neighbour whose Pri 2 son is also goes to morning stars. She also encounter the same incident n worst still, the answer given was wrong. So we told our son not to go n ask that particular Aunty anymore.

My son is attending Pri 1. There is this part where u need to rearrange the words to make a sentence in the Chinese hao peng you paper. The number was wrote on top of each words. -

I love your son! Such a good boy! Mine will just play non stop and not at all concern about his school homework and keep procrastinating!
My son say his form teacher scolds him everyday. And when I ask scold him for what reason, he say he dunno. faint
Must be always talking and distracted.
I think itβs not right of the Morningstar to provide answers leh. Should talk to them. -

During enrollment, aunty G was the one who say she takes accountability very seriously. If anyone else apart from parents were pick the child, have to be verified in writing by parents. Then that day my boy was left at guardhouse Β at 6:50pm I found it strange.. Now I know cos it's the other aunty..eetsc:

I spoke to my son and asked him if he don't know his chinese homework and is in Morning Star what does he do. He told me he asked Li Lao Shi and Lao Shi asks him to try to do it himself. He say Li Lao Shi say lower primary not so important; upper primary more important so she teaches them. So he says he doesn't ask anymore and prefers to just try. If really don't know then guess the answer. hahahaa.. well, I am happy enough for this guessing work. No wonder I keep finding wrong answers in his homework. But this is fine with me.
