Very complicated still but I summarized very nicely for you :rotflmao: -
Super tired today!
I went to the zoo today with DS1 school, a form of learning journey. Together w me are the FT n another parent volunteer. The class of 30 was divided into 3 groups, n each of us take care of 10 princesses.
Upon reaching the zoo, our angels became wonder girls. Many times the FT had to raise her volume to get their attention. Since we are just parent volunteers, we tried not to be too strict but being their friends. Well, half way through the journey, we realized that we were raising our voices too :slapshead: .
Our conclusion, they are intelligent no doubt, but now I understand why FT has to be strict with them. I always commented that it's not easy to handle 2 kids, after today, I dare to say aloud :yikes: IT'S MORE CHALLENGING TO HANDLE 30 STUDENTS!!!
Of course I don't agree to unreasonable punishment nor calling names, but deterrent punishment is still necessary to get the attention from a big class. I strongly encourage all mummies n daddies to try to participate in all outings organize by the school to experience a day as a \"teacher\". We might be a good parent but not teacher, at least that's me.
I am glad to let others take the role for any future outings. :siam:
Just my 2cent worth of thought.
