i like enrichment on weekdays, but not my boy. he finds it tiring to have to attend lessons after his morning school. he rather have the saturday pack with lessons.

My N1 is not 3yo yet. Will be sending her to CC for N2 next year. Considering ballet class when she turns 3 I'll prefer enrichments on weekdays, cos weekends are \"family time\". Me too, I prefer enrichment on weekdays. My dd1 will bring along a book to read if waiting for dd2. If dd1 is the one attending classes then I bring dd2 to shopping.

On weekends, I try to schedule their classes on the same day same time same location.

Yap, end of year-end, still very \"baby\" Ha ha, guessed I just need to give them more time, easier to manage when they're older.

Ballet at 3yo seems a bit too young.
Personally, I think 4+ to 5yo better as they are more aware of
what they really like, so your money will be well spent.
The leotard set itself already costs $85 and if you take up
ballet at reputed centres, the fees are almost double compared
to community centres.

My girl started to ask to go for ballet when she was 4yo.
I managed to only sign her up at 5yo at our community centre
where the min. entry age is 5yo.

And since then, almost 3 years now, she has not missed a lesson.

My DD asked to learn ballet when she was almost 3yo. I wasn't sure if she was serious about it so I took my time to look for a school for her. Many schools near my home had long waiting lists so eventually, I signed her up at Crestar for the Bebe Ballet class which takes in girls from 3yo. She is now 7yo and is still learning ballet. (^_^)

Actually, I don't really keep track of her progress in ballet since I have little appreciation for it. :oops: She doesn't practise at home too. She has the Pre-Ballet cert from this year so I guess the next one is Grade 1 for next year? :? Pai sei. I only know that she enjoys dancing so we just tell her that even if she chooses to pursue other forms of dance later on in life, ballet is a good foundation.

my 7 yr old girl going for grade 1 exam next april too.. She did not score too well for the last exam only 61... As they were tested in a group of 4 so I told her for the next exam concentrate on her own dance steps, do not bother what other girl is doing which is always the case...
