Nihauma:
Hi, I saw the regulation by LTA too. I think LTA should also make it mandatory for big buses to be equipped with seat belts.Yup, my son said can drink. But need to ask permission.
Also no seat belt on bus.
However the lta website says the rule is for small buses only. The one my son is on is big.

Dear Parents,
I heard that there’s a talk organised by the school this Fri, 10 Feb. Does anyone know the subject of the seminar? May I know the time and venue please? Any parents in this forum attending? -
Hi happy star…there are two sessions one at 6-6.30, then break for refreshment and another from 7-7.45 the first session is about hollistic assessment briefing and the second one on school family education talk.
I’ll be attending. Venue school hall -
Thanks Nihauma, I’ll try to attend too. I guess the break is to allow us to fetch our children too? Lucky school bus vendor asked me whether I fetching my gal. If not, I won’t remember the talk. Btw, my gal says she has photo taking this Fri. Do you know what’s that for?

The photo taking is for the library card, acc to my son…He is unhappy cause they use PE time for that. His fav subject apparently… Not surprising…

Hi all, it’s almost 1 month after the 10 Feb talk on holistic assessment. The Principal said presentation slides will be made available on school website. But I can’t find any. Did anyone manage to get hold of the presentation materials?

Hi mummies
In the heat of P1 registration this year, I notice that all places in Lakeside have been taken up at phase 2c. Looks like the school is getting more and more popular in this part of Jurong. I heard the current principal is quite new (about 2 years) and I know that they just revamped Their school vision, mission and values etc in recent year. I observe a lot of efforts put in and i am impressed at how certain things have been done in organized manners. I reckon the new leadership and team have worked very hard to make a difference and improve the conducive learning environment. Kudos to the team!
As my girl is only in P1 now and she really enjoys her learning there, I wonder if parents of older kids notice any difference then and now? -
Yes, noticed that they only accept PR within one km only. I am pretty happy so far w the school. My son is in primary 1. They always keep us informed on any news or development.
