All About Chwee Kueh
-
bedok chwee kueh and tiong bahru one can fight. the tiong bahru one has more sesame, which i love! just had some this morning… yummers.
after u eat chwee kueh from these two places, really don’t feel like eating all the other sub-standard types. waste time waste calories waste sodium (from their salty not nice chye por). -
We are chwee Kueh lover as well and we just had Kovan market chwee kueh last nite. Standard esp the chai poh seems to have dropped. There is a funny smell in the chai poh now. It smelled like someone who perspired too much…
I like the jian bo at Tiong Bahru. The chai poh got a unique smell. I also like the ones at serangoon garden market.
My dd1 has a bad habit of eating chai poh only. I was just "educating" her on being a "responsible" chwee kueh eater. Besides the chai poh, you must also eat your fair share of the kueh. -

It's all Champion's fault. Pictures can be very stimulating one ok... Some more the chye por got a lot (look like can swim in chye por). My heart beat very fast... I ate some already but heart still beating when look at pic.

Hi KSP,i find Bedok Chwee Kueh the best... especially the chilli that come with dried prawn and sesame in the chaipok
they have quite a few outlets all over the island

Know of any Bedok Chwee Kueh outlet in the west? Personally, I missed the Bedok Chwee Kueh though I can get tiong bahru chwee kueh at one of the Jurong West hawker centre

I also nag my 3.5 yr old abt eating both. Lately she's taken to telling me, without me checking, that \"See mummy? I'm eating the white part also\"... she's definitely a fan. When her daddy asks her how many pieces she wants, she'll say 5! no no no 6! and she can really finish 6.We are chwee Kueh lover as well and we just had Kovan market chwee kueh last nite.
