Perhaps it is time to email her teacher.

          Hello!

I’m an old gal of PLMGS and intends to send my daughter there in 2015. Just wondering how much things has change…

Can the current mommies enlighten me on the school workload (homework everyday?), weekly spelling, etc.?

What do they teach for moral education? Do they use di zi gui?

I attended the session last week, it is quite a brief overview of the syllabus. The slide is located http://www.payalebarmethodistgirlspri.moe.edu.sg/cos/o.x?c=/wbn/pagetree&func=view&rid=47797

I found the Maths Workshop really useful though

I agree that the Math workshop was useful. Now, I need to tune myself to solving sums in that manner so that I can effectively coach my girl when the need arises. 🙂

the maths workshop is really an eye opener for me.. interesting 🙂

our little girls are now into the 2nd mth of p1, so far so good i think. 😛

can i ask if your girl is doing any revision at home after yr dinner. I find the time is so limited.

my girl is settling in well. 🙂 she enjoys her class and lessons and likes her teachers and classmates, made several friends.

we try to do revision before she goes to bed. in fact, we started this routine when she was in nursery; to have nightly activities so now, it's isn't like an additional stuff for her.

i do not like the afternoon session. haha.. it's because i feel that the entire day is gone. nothing much can be done in the morning and then when the girl returns in the evening, its only like 2.5hrs before bedtime at 10pm. yes, like you said, not much time left. in a way, i am looking forward to the single session where at least she will get back earlier in the day but then again, i have this feeling that she will be held back in sch for what not... now that the school has an entire afternoon to play with.

                        hello mummies!

back from my biz trip and found the notes given by the school.

The canteen prices seems reasonable, don’t you think?

DD1 FT also gave a note which listed her email address , did you receive that as well?
