      Morning! 🙂

Yes, I find the food reasonably priced too.

Yes again to the note from form teacher. It was very informative to have her email add as the school website does not have a contact list of their teaching stuff.

      re: chinese ting xie
there are two list: one which has a combination of han yu and chinese characters and another which only has han yu. Would you know which list should our girls be learning , tested for the first ting xie this Wed?

      hello mummies!

back from my biz trip and found the notes given by the school.

The canteen prices seems reasonable, don't you think?

DD1 FT also gave a note which listed her email address , did you receive that as well?

        Hi krazy,

the CL spelling list is the one with both hanyu+chinese characters. the kids will be tested on hanyu only. My gal ting xie is on Friday, Wed is her English.

for the revision, i find it so hard to do it at night now becos i need to get her to bed by 10pm. After a whole day in sch and BAC, i was wondering if I should cont to revise with her… wondering if it will be too hard for her after a long day…haiz

          Hi krazy,

Yup, they are only tested on hanyu pinyin. The 听写 list states characters are for references only.

          Hi catherineleesg,

BASC does some revision with DD1 so I will try to revise 45 mins - 1hr with her daily.. try.. 😓

err... i think i didn't make myself clear.

there are 2 pages of ting xie.

page 1: a combination of hanyu and chinese characters
            page 2: only hanyu

and for page 2, there isnt any heading that says \"ting xie 1\" \"ting xie 2\"

So it is \"ting xie 1\" that we have to learn right?

                      Hello

I am an old girl and is thinking of sending my gal to PL in 2015. Just wondering how are the school rules like now. During my time, we cannot have long hair and we need to wear shoes with laces (even for Pri 1 students!!). We are generally well-disciplined as the principal is very strict.

May I know how’s the culture generally like there now?

How about the PSG? Is it active?

                      Thanks!

Aiyah... it's me who is the sotong. hahaha..

I saw the schedule for the ting xie and realised that her teacher has informed us which list to study... like so long ago.

                        Cherubsy:
Morning! 🙂 I won't say discipline is lax now (am sure the school maintains a standard) but long hair is permitted. Must be neatly tied back of course and if it is very long, girls are encouraged to have them up in plaits.

As for the PSG, think Kiss should be the best person to answer your queries. 🙂
