      dasalo:
You need exact measurement or rough gauge?

My MIL thought me her style in estimate, if you want to try.

      Here goes:

      1) Pig's fore trotter cut into pieces (blanch and set aside)
      2) Old (to taste) and Young ginger (to eat) scrub clean, lightly bashed (skin intact) fry them with sesame oil.
      3) 1 large bottle 陈广泰 (dog face) vinegar and 1 bottle water. (You can dilute further if it's too sour or if you want more gravy)
      4) Brown sugar and salt to taste

      Method

      1) fry 2 than add 1 and fry till fragrant.
      2) Add 3 and 4. Bring to a boil and simmer till meat is tender

Voila! your dish is ready to eat. Bon Appetit!

      Hi dasalo
Thanks for sharing...what kind of brown sugar should we use.
Do you have the recipe for Jiao zi?

Just any brown sugar would do, not the baking kind though.

        NTUC pasar brand should have.
