dear all

i understand it may deem irresponsible for me to ask but there are 90 pages on this thread and it going to take sometime to comprehend. Thus, may some kind soul summarize or advice any difference (in terms of authencity, versions) between buying the Happy Call from lelej and G-market, please?

much appreciated any replies.

thanks
Basically there is no difference in the one sold in Lejel Vs GMarket reliable stores. Main difference is the pricing , free gifts offers, plus new products availble in GMarket stores. In GMarket there is 3 sizes of the HCP - basic, deeper and jumbo. Basic pan is what Lejel is selling at $108 while GMarket store selling at $62.90.

Extract from previous posting:
Most of us in got the pans from GMarket the following is the highly recommended stores here:
http://list.gmarket.com.sg/gmkt.inc/Goods/Goods.aspx?goodscode=404162282&jaehuid=200004249
http://list.gmarket.com.sg/gmkt.inc/Goods/Goods.aspx?goodscode=404253124&jaehuid=200007550
http://list.gmarket.com.sg/gmkt.inc/Goods/Goods.aspx?goodscode=404809915&jaehuid=200004249

http://list.gmarket.com.sg/g/404210847/200007981

The Ocher deeper pan is selling at $68.90 and $69.90 in the above store, the difference between these store is their freebies give out with the purchase.
Difference between the Red colour pan and Ocher colour Pan is as follows:
The red colour pan with 3 layers Ceratinium Coating - Ceratinium Coating (Ceramic & Titanium Coating) for low nutrient lose cooking & shorten cooking time, more resistant to abrasion & corrosion coating.

Ocher pan - Coated with 5 Layer of Ceratinium (Ocher Deeper only) plus Ocher (Loess) which is for better food tasting, health and stronger prevention of abrasion.

Hope this helps dfstan.

I can’t seem to get my chicken or fish skin to brown. Do I need to use very high heat for that?

I bought it fr gmarket at $60+. Yes, can cook fish, egg, chicken etc. but fish is not crispy like what you get when you deep fry a fish. Def healthier though. ! thing for sure. I don't need to mop my kitchen after cooking, no grease :xedfingers:

Medium heat will do. how long did u cook it? normally 8 to 10 mins suffice .

if you want to have some crispy skin or chicken/fish, unlock the magnet with the cover down though..so that the water vapour can escape for a few mins.

Fish can coat with some corn flour to fry it.

Hi all, I’m glad that I found this forum 🙂

My mum is very interested in the Happycall Diamond Fry Pan Black Edition, and does anyone knows where I can get it?

I’ve searched for it in lejel.com but they don’t have it… So I’m browsing from Gmarket. I’ve also searched the reputable sellers from the above mentioned, but they don’t carry it… Help!

Hi xXxII,

Lejel does not carry the frying pan.
The Happycall Diamond Pan is available in these stores in the GMarket:
http://list.gmarket.com.sg/g/404040063/200007550
and I checked it is priced from $73.90 onwards.
http://list.gmarket.com.sg/g/405147135/200007550 priced from $71.90 onwards.

Do feedback to me on the pan as I am keen to get one next time.

Hi KS,

These are the recommended stores in GMarket that you can get your Happycall double side pan from as compared to the one selling on the TV advertisment $108.
